A Forever Home Designed with Trust, Comfort, and Intention

The Iris Project is especially meaningful to us because it’s not the first time we’ve worked with this family. Over the years, we’ve partnered with them on both their home and their commercial office space, so being invited back to design their new construction home meant a lot.

This time, they were building what they truly see as their forever home—a place where their kids will grow up and a home they’ll return to for years to come. From the beginning, there was a shared understanding of how they wanted the home to feel: comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together without feeling overdone.

We worked closely with them through every stage of the process, helping guide selections for everything from tile and finishes to window treatments and furnishings. Every detail was considered, but always with real life in mind—creating spaces that feel just as good to live in as they do to look at.

One of our favorite parts of this project is how livable it feels. It’s a home designed for everyday moments—the kind where you can settle into a comfortable sofa for an afternoon nap, gather as a family, and simply enjoy being home.

Projects like this are always special to us. Being trusted again—and getting to play a small role in a home that will hold so many memories—never gets old.
