A Warm, Welcoming Renovation for a New Season of Living

Scope of Work
The Chrysanthemum Project was a meaningful one for our team, as it was created for a dear friend returning home after many years away. When they found their way back to Texas, they reached out to us to help transform their newly purchased home into a space that truly reflected this next season of life.

While the home had great bones, it felt dated and no longer supported how they live today. As empty nesters—soon to be grandparents—with a love for cooking, entertaining, and making others feel at home, it was important that the design felt both functional and welcoming.

We approached the renovation with a focus on creating spaces that encourage gathering while still feeling comfortable for everyday life. The scope included a full renovation of the kitchen, living spaces, formal living and dining areas, primary suite, office, multiple bathrooms, and laundry room—bringing cohesion and intention to every part of the home.

Throughout the process, we worked to balance warmth with refinement, creating a home that feels inviting without feeling overdone. The result is a space that supports everything from quiet mornings to full, lively gatherings—designed to welcome family, friends, and soon, a new generation.
